An ex-adviser to former President Donald Trump has reached a plea deal over allegations of unwanted sexual advances at a Las Vegas event.

The suspect Corey Lewandowski, a former Trump campaign manager entered into a plea deal agreement earlier this month after he was accused of making the unwanted sexual advances to a GOP donor at a charity event in September 2021, POLITICO reports.

Lewandowski is facing charges of misdemeanor battery, POLITICO cited online Clark County Records.

The suspect will undergo eight hours of impulse control counseling and 50 hours of community service, but he has denied any wrongdoing.

The charges will be dismissed if the suspect satisfies the requirements and stays out of trouble for one year, The Associated Press cited court documents dated Monday.

“A misdemeanor case was filed but we are pleased to say the matter has been resolved,” defense attorneys David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld said in a statement, according to The Associated Press. “The court set conditions that Mr. Lewandowski will fulfill and the case will ultimately be dismissed.”

“The resolution did not require any admissions by Mr. Lewandowski,” the statement noted.

What did Odom accuse Lewandowski of doing to her?

Trump donor Trashelle Odom, who is the wife of Idaho construction executive John Odom publicly accused Lewandowski of repeatedly touching her without her permission, made lewd comments and stalked her throughout a September 2021 fundraising event.

Lewandowski charge is coming nearly one year after Trashelle Odom accused him of repeatedly touching her, including on her leg and buttocks, and using sexually graphic terms to speak to her, POLITICO reported. She also alleged that Lewandowski “stalked” her throughout the hotel, the venue of the event and told her she had a “nice ass,” and threw a drink at her, according to POLITICO.

The charge was filed earlier this month in Clark County, Nevada, POLITICO cited court records. The records show that Lewandowski agreed to a deal that will see him undergo eight hours of impulse control counseling and pay a fine of $1000.
