A talent agency dropped American rapper Ye, while anther entertainment firm abandoned a documentary on the rapper, formerly known as Kanye West over inciting anti-Semitic remarks on his social media accounts, Twitter and Instagram.
On Monday
MBC studio executives Scott Tenley, Asif Satchu and Modi Wiczyk said in a memo,
“We cannot support any content that amplifies his platform,” The Associated
Press reported.
Ye called
slavery a choice and said COVID-19 vaccine was the “mark of the beast” and also
wore a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt at Paris Fashion Week which featured his
latest collection
Women’s Wear
Daily reported that French Fashion House Balenciaga recently cut ties with Ye
as a direct consequence of his controversial comments.
“Kanye is a
producer and sampler of music. Last week he sampled and remixed a classic tune
that has charted for over 3000 years — the lie that Jews are evil and conspire
to control the world for their own gain. This song was performed acapella in
the time of the Pharaohs, Babylon and Rome, went acoustic with The Spanish

the studio executives, according to The Associated Press. .
Talent
agency CAA also announced Monday it had dropped Ye following a series of anti-Semitic
remarks His account on Twitter and Instagram has been suspended for what the platforms
say were a violation of their policies after a slew of anti-Semitic remarks.
