Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the Canadian Festival announced Wednesday, according to the Associated Press.
The film written
and directed by Rian Johnson will make its world premiere at the 47th edition
of TIFF, running Sept. 8-18, according to The Associated Press. Glass Onion is
a follow up to Johnson’s whodunit hit “Knives Out” which was launched in
Toronto in 2019.

The Associated Press, while “Knives Out” was released by Lionsgate, Netflix
last year bought two sequels for $450 million. Netflix will release the film in
late 2022.
According to
scenes in “Glass Onion,” Daniel Craig’s Detective Benoit Blanc travels to
Greece for a new mystery and co-stars Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe and Kathryn
Hahn. Others are Leslie Odom, Jr., Jessica Henwick and Madelyn Cline, The Associated
Press reported.
