Two persons, including rap star Ludacris’ manager were injured during a shooting incidence at a parking lot in Georgia. The incidence which took place in an upscale neighborhood north of downtown Atlanta also left one person dead on Sunday night at about 11:35 p.m., The Associated Press reports.
The men were
all taken to hospitals where one was pronounced dead, The Associated Press
cited a report by Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The dead man, Artez Benton, 23, of Scottsdale was identified by the
Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Atlanta
police confirmed Monday afternoon that one of the two injured men was Chaka
Zulu, the longtime manager of rapper and actor Ludacris. The state of their injuries
is not yet known.

The shooting
took place in the 2200 block of Peachtree Road in Buckhead into the early
Monday morning hours, in the parking lot used by several restaurants and shops,
according to Atlanta Police.
Police also
reported another shooting at an Atlanta sandwich shop which left one employee
dead and another injured after an argument over mayonnaise, according to The
Associated Press.
The shooting
took place around 6:30 p.m. Sunday at a Subway restaurant attached to a gas
station in downtown Atlanta.
