The cause of death of former US President Donald Trump’s first wife Ivana has been revealed days after her unfortunate death.
Ivana visited a popular restaurant in New York with a personal health aide to pick up an order of soup just hours before she died, friends of the fashion designer revealed, according to Washington Examiner.
Ivana Trump
made a stop at Altesi Ristorante in Manhattan around 6 p.m. Wednesday as her
health aide went inside the restaurant to order some soup. Some friends who saw
her outside the building spoke with her and described her as seemingly frail as
a result of the COVID-19 lockdown imposed periodically over the last two years,
Washington Examiner reports.
She appeared tired and some friends of Ivana said she had dealt with hip pain in recent months which sometimes hindered her from being able to walk.
A friend of the
73-year-old woman said she hadn’t been the same since the COVID-19 pandemic
began.
“She aged
very rapidly the last one year,” said Thomas Makkos, the owner of Nello, another
restaurant favored by Ivana, according to Washington Times.
Investigations
reveal that Ivana Trump died from force injuries to her chest that occurred during
a fall at her New York apartment, the office of the New York City chief
examiner’s office revealed Friday.
The medical
examiner’s office said the injuries were the result of an accident and didn’t
appear suspicious. Ivana was found unresponsive at the bottom of a flight of
stairs in her Upper East Side apartment. Paramedics responded to a cardiac
arrest call around noon on Thursday and she was declared dead at the scene,
Washington Examiner quoted the New York Police Department.
