A Southern California woman has been arrested in suspected poisoning of husband.
A man reported to Police in the Orange County city of Irvine Thursday that he believed he was being poisoned by his wife of 10 years after he became ill within a period of one month, The Associated Press reports.
Police said
in a statement that victim had video evidence he also provided to authorities and
had internal injuries and is expected to survive, according to The Associated
Press.
45-year-old
Yue Yu was arrested Thursday after investigators searched their home and
interviewed her, according to the statement. The suspect would appear in court
Monday and is being held on $30,000 bail, The Associated Press cited online
jail records.
Yu is a
dermatologist in Orange County. She attended medical school at Washington
University in St. Louis, Missouri, The Associated Press cited her office’s
website.
