Wheeler was pulled with a 1-0 lead, The Associated Press reported.
Astros
Jeremy Pena helped Alvarez make his powerful drive to become the World Series
MVP.
Christian Vazquez
made an RBI single to make it 4-1 later in the game.
The disappointed
Phillies manager Rob Thomson went to Jose Alvarado to face the lefty slugger
for the fourth time in the series.
