Houston Astros beat Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 in Game 6 on Saturday night winning their second World Series title in six seasons with Yordan Alvarez making a powerful three-run drive to take his team to victory.

It was an exciting time for manager Dusty Baker in his 25th season as manager, getting his first major win since resuming as manager, according to The Associated Press. The team has been struggling to keep up with stronger team in the MLB.

Alvarez made a 450-foot drive in the sixth inning just moments after Phillies starter Zack Wheeler was pulled with a 1-0 lead, The Associated Press reported.

Astros Jeremy Pena helped Alvarez make his powerful drive to become the World Series MVP.

Christian Vazquez made an RBI single to make it 4-1 later in the game.

The disappointed Phillies manager Rob Thomson went to Jose Alvarado to face the lefty slugger for the fourth time in the series.

Houston got two runners on base against Wheeler for the first time in the game in the sixth when Martin Maldonado was hit by a pitch, according to The Associated Press.
